 BCO has one of the
largest land holdings through leases in the state of Idaho.
These ranches are located in the Hell’s Canyon area,
near the famous and picturesque Salmon and Snake Rivers. Access
into these ranches is strictly controlled, however, the animals
are free ranging and therefore challenging to hunt. The ranches
are accessible by 4-wheel drive vehicles, providing easier
access to productive hunting areas. These leases have been
in place for several years, and coupled with the limited access,
our selective deer and elk hunting yearly produces outstanding
bulls and tremendous bucks.
Accommodations for these seven day hunts will be either cabins
or a guest ranch house, complete with Jacuzzi tub, sauna,
big screen TV, and private bedrooms for couples or families.
Elk and Deer Hunting will be on foot or with the aid of an
ATV while glassing, elk calling, and hunting from stands or
our custom made shooting houses. These large leases allow
us to guarantee each hunter at least 1000 acres where they
will enjoy undisturbed hunting at its finest.

October 1999. It officially scores 387 non-typical boone and
crockett points. It was taken by John Abel of Rio Vista,
California. This bull elk ranks #5 out of a total of
7 ever recorded in Idaho in the boone and crockett club.

This
Is Hunt #1
October deer and elk, unit 13
 This unit is a draw-only area
for elk and non-draw for deer. We have enjoyed 96% success
on whitetail deers in which hunters will be pursuing 140 B&C
point bucks or better. We are also 96% successful getting
our clients their bull elks with several of these in excess
of 300 B&C points. This area also yields some dandy mule
deer as well; 24-29" wide bucks with deep forks that
produce racks as high as they are wide make for a memorable
hunt and beautiful trophy. Also boasting a healthy bear population,
anyone wishing to purchase a bear tag can expect opportunities
at bears of their choice for a small additional fee.

Is Hunt #2
October deer and elk, unit 14
Our leased ranches in this unit
produce 99% success on 24-29" mule deer with heavy, deep
forks. A 50-75% success on elk every year makes for a very
exciting hunt. Bear again are plentiful both on and off the
ranches and successful tag holders will only be charged a
small additional trophy fee.
This
Is Hunt #3
November whitetail hunt, units 13, 14,
& 18
 This unique hunt is specialized for serious
hunters wanting to take their best whitetail buck ever. The
action is often fast and furious with the November rut exposing
the best of the whitetail bucks. Hunters can expect to hunt
bucks of 140-160 B&C points, with several larger bucks
falling to a hunter’s well placed shot during the last
few seasons. This hunt alone has aired nine times on TNN Outdoors
with Buckmasters founder Jackie Bushman and twice on RealTree
Outdoors with RealTree Camouflage originator Bill Jordan.
