While you are on the river, take
note
that it is the deepest river gorge in the United
States, its reputation grounded by the sheer
beauty of blue river weaving throughout miles
of canyon and rock wall. Along the way, you may be
rewarded with sightings of Mule Deer, White
Tail Deer and wild mountain sheep grazing along the
riverbanks. Indian hieroglyphs carved into
the rock canyon walls present a little sideshow of
history. Throw in a fishing line for a chance
at Salmon, Steelhead and the mighty Sturgeon.
